Meet our team

  • Todd Gray

Todd entered the world of estate sales in 2000, when he began buying and selling antiquarian books and historical memorabilia that he purchased from sales that he attended. His passion for such work led him to conduct his first sale in 2006.

The roots of Todd’s interest in the world of estate sales extend to his earliest memories, including visits to his grandparent’s antique store in Coffeen, Illinois, and his desire as a child to collect everything from baseball cards to matchbooks to insects. Todd is a Forest Hills-area resident whose children attended Forest Hills Northern H.S.

Todd’s passions outside of work include spending time with his family and seeing his daughters any chance that he can get, in addition to gardening, reading, and managing his addiction to pickleball.

  • Sue Farrar

Sue has been working with Todd for 15 years. She is a lifelong Grand Rapids-area resident who grew up in the world of antiques and estate sales. Sue’s mother, Chloe Jones, owned and operated both an estate sale business and an antique store in the Grand Rapids- and East Grand Rapids-areas for many years, and Sue would aid her mother in these endeavors whenever she had the opportunity to do so.

Sue began collecting antique butter pats at the ripe old age of 6, and over the years her collecting interests blossomed into vintage Christmas items and pottery. Additional passions include spending time with her family, including her two grandchildren, in addition to outdoor activities such as hiking, biking, gardening, and playing pickleball.

  • Mike Farrar

Mike is a graduate of Kendall College of Art and Design who enjoyed a career in graphic design prior to joining our team in 2012. His appreciation of art, art history, furniture, and design history in general provides valuable insight to our team. Mike enjoys the adventure of setting up estate sales, exploring the histories behind the items to be sold and the stories that these items tell, and the research required in order to learn more about the items and determine their values.

Mike’s favorite pastimes include spending time with his grandchildren, traveling with his wife, Sue, and cooking. He loves to explore ethnic cuisines and palates from around the world — his current challenge is to bake the world’s best loaf of sourdough bread.

  • Karrie Scudder

Karrie was born and raised in East Grand Rapids, and she currently calls Lowell her home. She joined our team in 2012. Karrie is a lifelong collector of primitive antiques and early Americana, and she is the former owner of Dovetail Antiques in Lowell.

Karrie was raised in a world of antiques and collecting, and she began collecting vintage buttons as a child. These days, her passions and expertise include primitives — 18th-and 19th-century items that had a functional purpose — and early Americana. She brings her wide range of knowledge in primitive antiques, Americana, and folk art to our team. Karrie’s additional passions include spending time with her family — including six children and nine grandchildren — gardening, hiking, and spending time in nature.

  • Beth Wilson

Beth is long-time Cascade-area resident who joined our team in 2014. You will almost always find Beth running the checkout area at our sales, where she enjoys getting to know the diverse and interesting people who attend our sales.

Beth’s experience in the world of estate sales and collecting is connected to her past business travels around the world, in addition to her many forays antiquing with her sisters, both of these activities fostering an interest in Asian antiquities. Beth’s passions include spending time with her family, including her four grandchildren, cooking and baking, gardening and playing bridge.
